Common signs: the charge drains far faster than it used to, the device dies with percentage left, it only works plugged in, or the case/screen is bulging (a swollen battery — stop using the device and get it looked at). On iPhone, Settings → Battery → Battery Health shows maximum capacity; a heavily degraded battery is a clear candidate.
Is a swollen battery dangerous?

How long does a battery replacement take?
Most phone battery replacements are completed the same day, in a single on-site visit, when the battery for your model is in stock. Laptops and tablets can take longer depending on the model — we tell you upfront.
